Maryann Hall  I was born on Governor's Island, New York City and brought up on Long Island.  After graduating from high school I worked in an office in the PX on Mitchel Field, then at an export company. I started discovering the rest of the world when I moved to London, where they hired temporary office workers from the States. Later I lived in San Francisco, working at a law firm, then returned to the east coast and have lived in Connecticut ever since.  I have been blessed with several lifelong friends and have had three treasured dogs over the years. Now that I am retired there is more time to enjoy my friends and family and I am beginning to realize that I like to write. I hope to contribute many more articles to Living Happy.
